Conductor, violinist, composer

Hello!

I am an orchestral conductor dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sound and expression.

Together with the baton, the violin has been my loyal companion since childhood.

I am here to listen, grow and discover music with others.

My philosophy

My journey as a musician and especially as a conductor has made me realise that making music is all about enabling and channeling the right energy. Every note, every rest, every beat: everything is in constant vibration.

The task of a conductor becomes therefore to find, connect and translate this energy to the musicians. Once we manage to “tune in” and grasp this connection, we are able to open up a whole new world of sensations and perception.

Most importantly, I believe in conducting as a dynamic and inclusive activity, in which dialogue and interaction are the key principles. A conductor should promote an environment in which musicians can feel valued, seen and heard. In this sense, it’s about bringing together, rather than leading from the top of the podium.
